Scope of work

What we do for foreign hiring

We introduce foreign residents who may work in Korea, and Hwang Yunsang Administrative Agent Office handles the visa work that goes with it.

Professionals · placement and visa together

Hiring E-7 (Special Occupation) professionals and changing status

  • Introducing candidates for E-7 occupations such as overseas sales, software development and mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Hiring D-2 (Student) or D-10 (Job Seeker) graduates of Korean universities and filing their change to E-7 on your behalf
  • Preparing the employment justification letter and filing visa issuance certificate applications

Placement contract + separate administrative service contract

Long-term residents

Introducing F-2 (Resident), F-4 (Overseas Korean), F-5 (Permanent) and F-6 (Marriage Migrant) holders

  • F-5 and F-6 holders, and most F-2 sub-types, can be introduced to any field of work
  • F-4 holders are introduced except for simple labor and other restricted fields
  • Before any introduction we check the residence card for the permitted stay and scope of work

Placement contract · extension of stay filed if needed

Job Center procedures · documents only

E-9 (Non-professional Employment) permit documents and immigration filings

E-9, H-2 (Working Visit) and E-8 (Seasonal Work) workers can only be hired through the Job Center and public programs, so we do not introduce them.

  • Filing visa issuance certificate and workplace change applications on your behalf
  • Filing E-7-4 (Skilled Worker) status change applications on your behalf

Employer request

How it works

How it works

From your request to the employment contract, we proceed in this order.

  1. 01

    Request

Employers send their hiring conditions; job seekers send their preferred job and visa status.

  2. 02

    Consultation and checks

We confirm the job conditions and the employer's licenses, and check the residence card of foreign job seekers to confirm that their status allows the work.

  3. 03

    Introduction

We introduce matching job seekers and employers to each other and arrange interviews.

  4. 04

    Contract and fee

After the employment contract is signed, the placement fee is charged under a written fee agreement. Status changes, if needed, are filed under a separate service contract.

Fees

Fees

Placement fees stay within the cap set by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and are charged only after an employment contract is signed.

Placement fee caps

  • Fees are charged only after the employer and the job seeker sign an employment contract.
  • Any fee from a job seeker is based on a written agreement signed in advance.
  • Our actual fee is set within these caps in a placement fee agreement, and the fee table is posted inside our office.

Example: for a one-year contract at KRW 2.5 million a month, the employer fee cap is 2.5 million × 3 months × 30% = KRW 2.25 million, and the job seeker fee cap is KRW 75,000.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can any foreign resident register as a job seeker?

Yes, if your visa status allows you to work in Korea. F-2 (Resident), F-4 (Overseas Korean), F-5 (Permanent), F-6 (Marriage Migrant) and E-7 (Special Occupation) holders can register, as can D-2 (Student) and D-10 (Job Seeker) holders preparing to work after graduation. E-9 (Non-professional Employment) and H-2 (Working Visit) holders can change jobs only through the Job Center, so we do not introduce them.

When and how much is the placement fee?

Only after an employment contract is signed. The legal cap is up to 30% of 3 months' wages for the employer (10% for daily construction work) and up to 1% of 3 months' wages for the job seeker; the actual fee is set within that range in a fee agreement.

Can you introduce E-9 (Non-professional Employment) workers?

No. E-9 workers can only be hired through the Job Center. Hwang Yunsang Administrative Agent Office prepares the employment permit application and attachments and files visa issuance certificate and workplace change applications on your behalf.

Can we ask you to handle the visa work when hiring a foreign national?

Yes. Under an administrative service contract separate from the placement contract, we prepare the employment justification letter and file the status change or visa issuance certificate application.

Will my details be shown on this site?
